Insert Molding 
Insert molding is a highly efficient method of permanently joining intricate parts; oftentimes, it reduces the assembly costs and improves the bond joint and product functionality. G&F has successfully over-molded onto polypropylene, polycarbonate, esltem, polysulfone, copper, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and nitinol substrates.

  • Latest in insert molding, self-bonding grade LSRs (Liquid Silicone Rubber) can chemically adhere to most engineering grade thermoplastic materials without any pre-treatment to the inserts.
  • LSRs (Liquid Silicone Rubber) can be over molded onto many substrates including aluminum and steel using mechanical bond design or by priming the substrate prior to the molding process.
